ABOUT ALISON WALKER-SMITH
Alison Walker-Smith was trained in physiotherapy at the West Middlesex University Hospital School of Physiotherapy, graduating in 1980 as a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
She has practiced in hospitals and in private practice in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore, specializing in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic fields. Alison has attended numerous professional courses in Australia and the UK to remain at the cutting edge of developing physiotherapy techniques. She holds an Orthopaedic Certificate in Manual Therapy from Perth, Western Australia, and is a member of the Association of Acupuncture Chartered Physiotherapists.
Alison has a special interest in sports injuries, and is a member of the Football Association Medical Society. She has also gained particular experience in hip, knee and ankle problems, and in the management of hypermobility.
She is registered with the Health Professions Council.
